Transka Bankya - spa resort & hotels
A lovely small village situated next to the Serbian border, 75 km from Sofia. The spa is surrounded by mountains and rocks, at 740 m above sea level. Nearby is the famous gorge of the river Erma. The air is fresh and pure. Many tourists visit this interesting eco-place, known as one of the oldest mineral beaches in Bulgaria.
The mineral water is low mineralized, hypothermal, hydro-carbon-calcium, with a neutral pH. It is especially good for treatment and prevention of hypertension and functional disorders of neural system.
