Basic data

Description: Health resort Sliač is aimed at treating of so-called civilisation-conditioned diseases, primarily chronic disorders of the circulatory system. Patients with heart diseases are treated here, e.g. high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, post-rheumatic states of myocardial and valve inflammation, postoperative states of cardiovascular system. Very satisfactory results are reached when treating ischeamic heart diseases (angina pectoris, states after myocardial infarction), thrombossis in the extremit ies, as well as vasomotor neuroses. From the year 2004 also gyneacological diseases are treated there. The main part of spa treatment - pool and tub baths - is suitably supplemented with spring gas injections, BIO-VAK, physiotherapie, hydrotherapie, electrotherapie and various massages (classical, reflexive and lymphmassage). Spa treatment comprehends dietary boarding, as well.
