| Description: | The company Marienbad Kur & Spa Hotels - Léčebné lázně Mariánské Lázně a.s., operates in the field of spa tourist trade and it specialises in providing spa care and hotel activities. The company is a member of the group DANUBIUS HOTELS GROUP – one of the biggest hotel chains in Europe with spa hotels in Hungary, Rumania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The company operates three-, four- and five-star hotels in Mariánské Lázně with the overall capacity of 894 rooms and 1529 beds. There is the spa hotel Nové Lázně, the spa hotel Hvězda-Skalník, the wellness hotel Villa Butterfly, Grandhotel Pacifik, the spa hotel Centrální Lázně, the spa hotel Vltava-Berounka, the spa hotel Svoboda and the spa hotel Labe. At the present time it is one of the most efficient spa companies. From an accommodation capacity point of view it is the third biggest spa organisation in the Czech Republic. Mariánské Lázně has a rich history and hundreds of years of tradition. It belongs to spas with a wide spectrum of natural medicinal sources. The basis of a cure is created by mineral springs, natural gas CO2 and peloids. The pharmacologically different constitution of springs enables to use them in balneology and for drinking cures for the whole range of illnesses. Mineral baths, dry gas baths, gas injections and peloids combined with quality rehabilitation and physical therapy create, together with the ideal climatic conditions of Mariánské Lázně, is the basis of medical activity of our company. In Mariánské Lázně, we cure locomotive apparatus disorders, disorders of kidneys and urinary tract, respiratory track, gynaecologic and metabolic illnesses. Beside the traditional spa cures, the company offers new relaxing and wellness programs aimed at relaxation and the improvement of physical condition using the most modern curative methods.
