| Description: | The Spa of Vyšné Ruzbachy lies at a height of 623 m on the foot of the mountain Spišská Magura, 35 km distant from the High Tatras. The base of the treatment und prevention is natural hypotonic spring water with the 26°C, slightly mineralized, carbonated, with a high quantity of calcium und magnesium. For treatment, the 26°C warm thermal water is warmed up to 38°C of water temperature. There are 14 springs of mineral water jetting in the spa with favourable effects on a central nerve system and tranquilizing as well as weight reduction effects due to the increased content of CO2 and lithium. Vyšné Ružbachy is focusing on prevention and curing : cardiovascular diseases, emotional disorders, diseases of the locomotion system, cancer, gynaecological disorders, diseases of circulatory system, diseases of the respiratory system, occupational diseases. Besides the standard treatments based on hydrotherapy, physical therapy, psychotherapy, electrotherapy.
