Dynamic maps now featured on the VisitEuropeanSpas.com web site!
During June 2007 dynamic Google maps were added to the European spa portal VisitEuropeanSpas.com, the official project of the European Spas Association. The web site presents countries along with a designation of individual spa locations. These spa locations and their various facilities are described and indicated on the map of the given spa town and its surrounding areas.
Visitors now have the possibility of making complete use of all the functions of the dynamic maps, including zooming all the way down to street level in the towns and moving in all directions. This feature can be used, for example, to search interesting sites near spas. Navigation is accelerated by a feature that displays the names and photographs of labelled spa sites as the visitor to the web site moves the cursor over the map. The same principle works when visitors move the cursor over a list of sites located below the map. For example, this is convenient when a visitor is trying to quickly locate a specific spa location in a particular country.
The new version of web maps will certainly please all visitors to the portal and will provide them simpler orientation while searching a desired location or an actual spa facility.
